OG&E THUNDER BOLT

Project Overview

This project was the full-scale redesign of the cobranded Thunder and OG&E fan interactive trailer. This experience the "OG&E Thunder Bolt" is a trailer that appears throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states bringing the Thunder to community events, city celebrations, and local tradeshows. This fan activation strives to increase awareness and understanding of OG&E offerings while delivering a fun, interactive experience for Thunder fans. Designed to strike the right balance between fun and informative.

Utilizing The Space

Locker-room Photo-Op
The perfect photo opportunity for Fans. This opportunity showcases current jerseys, shoes, and other Thunder gear. The jersey number 08 commemorates the founding of the Thunder.

Thunder Central
This space is reserved for Thunder promotional videos and games utilizing OKC Thunder VR technology. This space will include a pop-a-shot game, thunder trivia, a City Jersey release display, interactive player cards, and a theatre room with highlight videos.

OG&E TV Interactives
This space is reserved for OG&E digital games and interactions. This gives OG&E partners a certain level of freedom through a customizable space.

Local Artist - Custom Basketball Shelves
The best way to connect with a community is through local artists. This activation not only supports the local art scene but also proudly displays the heart of the Thunder and the soul of OKC.

Rumble’s Measure-Up and Player Handprint Wall
A hands-on experience. A genuine way for fans to compare their hand size with the OKC Thunder starting five players. Thunder fans can now see how they “Measure-Up” to Rumble’s height. By keeping this area open we also leave room for another fan photo opportunity.

Rumble’s Plasma Ball
Letting fans see electricity in action. Strategically placed at the window to ensure further interests of fans passing by.
